Beautiful but oh so cozy. Amazing house!

“I think this was the nicest house we have ever rented. Not only is it beautiful, it is the most well-equipped house we have seen. There is anything and everything you could possibly want to cook a huge meal in the beautiful kitchen. The kitchen equipment is all top-notch and easy to find in the labeled drawers and cabinets. There were more than enough plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, towels, extra blankets and pillows - everything we needed to serve our large group. The house is beautiful inside and out, while also being cozy and very comfortable. Everyone in our group was so impressed, and everyone had a wonderful weekend. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful property!”

Great House for Multiple Generations

This was our third trip to Saugatuck, and it was by far the nicest house we have stayed in. We had 11 people ranging in age from 6-67. The house was well equipped from top to bottom. The kitchen was well stocked (with cabinets & drawers labeled!), plenty of bath towels for everyone, and beach chairs/umbrellas! We also enjoyed a serious ping pong tournament, and the space to spread out! The location could not be more perfect for kids, with sports fields next door and walking distance to the chain ferry! The owner was very prompt and patient with all my questions. We would recommend this house to everyone, and will definitely be staying here the next time we visit Saugatuck!

Perfect location and very clean!

“This home was an excellent choice for our 7 person leadership team to host our business retreat. The accommodations were spotless and everything was easy to find and use. We enjoyed having the dining room, living room(s), and porches to relax and have some great discussions. Alex was easy to work with and was very responsive to any questions we had leading up to our stay. The proximity to the downtown shops and eateries allowed us to easily walk to and from town for dinner each night. The large televisions allowed us to view our presentations via the hdmi connection on our laptops. The kitchen contained everything we needed to supply breakfast and lunch each day. We will definitely consider coming back here next year for our retreat. Thanks!”

Awesome House!

“Awesome house with a ton of space. There were 14 of us (7 adults, 7 children) and we had plenty of room. Spacious kitchen, dining, bedrooms and living areas. Used the outdoor fireplace and there was plenty of firewood. Close to downtown Saugatuck and about a ten minute drive to Oval Beach. Highly recommend!”

Wonderful stay in Saugatuck!

“We loved our stay at the modern farmhouse! The location was perfect with an easy walk to downtown and short drive to Oval beach. The house was just lovely and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the screened in porch and family game time around the large dining table. The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked with everything you would ever need. The boys also enjoyed the close proximity to tennis and basketball courts. We will definitely visit again!”

Beautiful Home - Peaceful and relaxing

“This was our second time staying in this property. We stayed with 14 ladies, sisters and adult nieces, and really enjoyed the place. The location is great, close to wine tasting, shopping, night life. The Kitchen was very well equipped for preparing meals. The large farm table was great for gathering and playing games. Plenty of area for sleeping, bedrooms are very large that we could hang out for our late evening talks. If you have a large family , or a couple of families this is the place to stay, you won't be disappointed. I Thank the owners for providing such a wonderful place for our family to get together. We will be returning again next year.”

Easter Vacation

“Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay with a large group of people. Perfect location for a quick walk downtown to visit all the cute stores the town has to offer. We traveled with children and it was an added bonus that they had kids' games and equipment (highchair, pack n play, and strollers). All the rooms were as stated and very comfortable. My favorite "room" was the screened in patio. Owners responded quickly and promptly to questions. We are already talking about our return visit back!”

Perfect Place for a Family Reunion

“Twenty family members gathered in Saugatuck for an anniversary event; 16 of them stayed at the house. The kitchen is unusually well-equipped, compared to other vacation rentals that we have experienced, which was a very good thing in view of the four large dinners that were prepared there. The accommodations were excellent in every respect, and all of the guests commented on what a great choice the house was. The location was quite convenient for walking to the waterfront and the commercial area, and the driveways were big enough to accommodate the many vehicles of our group so that we did not need on-street parking.”

Fabulous Home

“Our annual girl's week-end couldn't have been more perfect at Alex's beautiful home..We all enjoyed the spaciousness, cleanliness and warmth of our surroundings. We sipped wine outside at the fireplace until late evening..then went to our accommodations which were totally comfortable and private..The bedroom apartment was almost a get-away within a get-away.!..Had coffee out on porch off of the living room and the kitchen provided all we needed for preparing our pre dinner fixings...amply supplied for sure...We walked into town .only a few blocks. We want to come back again and again. Arrangements went great..recommend highly.”

“What a great weekend. My son was married in Saugatuck, so my husband and I, our other 3 children, spouses, and 5 grandchildren stayed in this beautiful and spacious house. The day of the wedding the groomsmen ate on the screened porch and walked to the church. Plenty of bathrooms so we could all get ready while the little ones napped. The first night we couldn't find the TV remote---Alex responded to my text very quickly and all was fixed. Would highly recommend this property for large families. Perfect set-up!!”

Saugatuck Farmhouse Perfect

“The features of this property cannot be overstated and are exactly as represented. The common areas are spacious and accommodate everyone comfortably, while providing separate "venues" for those who want to peel off from the bunch. The kitchen is roomy, too, and you won't find your fellow guests bumping into one another. It is just a wonderful place for a group of friends or family members to have their reunion. We had a terrific time, thanks to the Farmhouse accommodations. Best VRBO place we've ever stayed!”

Spacious well laid out home

“This large house is perfect for family gatherings. The bedrooms offer privacy as they are located away from the larger gathering places in the home where individuals may congregate to talk or play one of the many board games provided. Our family only stayed two nights but as other reviewers note, you won’t be disappointed with this house. We have rented several houses throughout the United States and this is one of the nicest houses we have stayed in.”

A Saugatuck Gem

”Although the beautiful farmhouse is very spacious, it feels warm and cozy. From the charming fireplace in the sitting area as you enter, to the enormous, fully equipped kitchen and dining room, to the family room with large flat-screen TV and sound system, it feels like home. As lovely as it is inside, the two outdoor spaces -- screened-in porch and covered porch with fireplace -- were delightful. The five of us, enjoying our annual family reunion, couldn't have had better accommodations. The Modern Farmhouse truly is a gem. We are looking forward to returning next year!”

Perfect for our multi-family vacation

“We combined four families for 15 total guests and we all loved this home. There was so much room to spread out and we were all able to fit in the large kitchen and dining area during meals. This home is full of high quality furniture, appliances, bedding, towels, dishes, silverware, etc. It felt luxurious. We appreciated the two different TV areas and the large screened-in porch was a favorite spot for everyone. We walked downtown to visit the shops multiple times. If we come back to Saugatuck, this will be our first choice for a vacation house!”

Great house - Great location

”This house was perfect for our family - Grandma, Grandpa, two sons, their wives and six grandchildren (ages 5 -15). Nice large areas to all be together and plenty of rooms to spread out. Appreciated the cleanliness, quality of everything -including linens, towels, appliances and beds. We've been coming to Saugatuck for eight years and this was our best vacation ever! Would definitely rent this house again.”

Great place for our group to stay

”Wow, what a wonderful place to stay for our reunion of thirteen 76-year old women celebrating with our high school friends. They were amazed by the house and we all were very comfortable. Lovely location for walking to town . We really enjoyed our stay and didn't want for anything as it was well stocked for cooking. Beds were comfortable too.
