“The home is beautiful, extremely clean, well furnished, comfortable, and has a very well equipped kitchen. The location is walkable to downtown Douglas, and has lovely water views. We were a group of 15 and had plenty of space for sleeping, cooking, and dining. The backyard and roof deck are lovely as well. The hosts were extremely communicative and clear, and the check in and out processes were very easy. Overall a truly wonderful stay in Douglas.”

“Our 3 generation annual family trip was in Saugatuck this year and we were so blessed to have been able to spend it in this beautiful modern farm house. It was even more lovely then the photos show and accommodated out Family of 12 perfectly. The communication between Alex and I was very professional. The home was clean and welcoming. The layout is family friendly with a lower entertainment area. The home not only has an indoor fireplace but a outside as well for late night smores. One of the best if not the best Vrbo for our family through the many years we have been taking these annual vacations. “Our multi-generational family had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. There was plenty of space so we could spread out and still come together in the living/ dining area. We also loved sitting out on the side screened in porch. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the helpful labels on the cupboards and drawers. It’s a short 3 block walk into town which we did every day. There was adequate parking for us, as well. The owner was very communicative and helpful. We highly recommend this property!”

“Three generations of our family enjoyed this beautiful home for a week in July. There was plenty of room for 13 of us, and we utilized many of the amenities, including both grills and the beautiful backyard space. The house is in an ideal location, a block from downtown Douglas and 5 minute drive to Saugatuck, Oval Beach, etc. Communication with the property manager was excellent, and there were many thoughtful touches that made it an ideal rental. We cooked many meals in the large kitchen, and appreciated the well-stocked tools, plentiful silverware, dishes and glassware, and double dishwashers. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this home again!”

“Extremely well equipped spacious home with plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements for our group of 13 celebrating an 80th birthday. We were impressed with how well the kitchen was equipped for home-cooked meals for a large group. Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery and dishes, plus all kinds of helpful kitchen gadgets to prepare a gourmet meal. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, equipped with all kinds of toys, games, and entertainment options for all generations, including beach toys, strollers, and Pack & Plays (our group did not use these, but was impressed with the supplies). We loved the screened porch which comfortably seated our group, the larger dining table and the nice family room. We very much appreciated the great location, within a 8-minute walk to downtown Saugatuck. Alex, the manager, was very responsive and helpful with suggestions for activities. We highly recommend this home and would love to come back soon!”

“My family and I (two adult couples and children 16, 14, age 12) had the most amazing week at this wonderful home. I have stayed at plenty of rental properties, and no house has ever been this clean, organized, and convenient. We had plenty of space to spread out and plenty to do when we were together. “We had 9 adults and 4 kids and absolutely loved this home. It was very spacious and the most well appointed rental we’ve ever been in. The inside of the home was extremely clean and well cared for. We loved having a yard for the kids to play and the view from the roof top deck is beautiful. It was too short of a trip this go around, but we’d love to stay again, walk to downtown Douglas, and take the very short drive to explore Saugatuck. We would HIGHLY recommend this house to our friends and family.”

“This beautiful place was exactly as pictured and once you stepped inside, the warmly decorated home was spotless. The kitchen was designed to hold all 8 of us very easily as we cooked, ate and sat around the large inviting table catching up with friends. The large great room was cozy. The individual bedrooms and bathrooms were all very clean and comfy. Also, you won’t have to look far for anything you might need in the kitchen. Everything is labeled and easily accessible. Highly recommended!”

“So lucky we found this home! Rave reviews from our multi-generational (9yo-74yo) group of family and friends. Third and by far the best of Michigan shore homes we have rented. Did almost all our meals at home, and this was definitely the best kitchen ever...great gas range, two dishwashers, extra refrigerator-freezer in garage, (and another sink-fridge for roof deck), and almost everything you'd need for preparing, serving, and storing food (yes, we are foodies!). Accommodations clean, comfortable, and attractive with quality amenities throughout (really appreciated two dishwashers and supersized washer/dryer). Lots of storage in bedrooms and bathrooms. Master bedrooms with private baths on two levels. Lower level great for kids (and adults) with TV, pool table and fussball. Plenty of room in upstairs dining/kitchen/family room with TV and music system. Very nice backyard with fire pit, eating area, and room for lawn games; rooftop deck with river view also has seating and space for group to gather. Ample beach supplies and plenty of room for bikes and overflow storage in garage. Great location- river, fishing dock, kayak and paddle board rental across the street; a few blocks from Douglas restaurants, galleries, shops and just a few minutes from Saugatuck; easy drive to Oval Beach and other recreational activities in the area. Local guidebook and online suggestions provided by Alex was very helpful; recommend reviewing guidebook week before arrival so you can make advance reservations if needed. Alex maintained regular communication and was very responsive when we contacted him. Could go on and on but will stop here...Highly recommend!!”
